After a month of intense qualifying the Second Annual Memphis Open Championship Tournament took place on August 12th. The kids took to the links first. Eight youths entered, but in the end it was Max Macasek who took home the prize, a brand new bicycle.

After two rounds, the teen divisions was cut from 14 players to four. In the first semi-final match Eddie Lewis defeated Crystal Summers to advance to the finals while Chris Carson defeated Justin Pietrasz to secure the second spot in the finals. Carson won a hard fought final to become the champion in the teen division and took home a TV/VCR combo.
